Kimberly Teaching at The Clearing

04/09/2018

Every year I teach at The Clearing, a folk school in Door County. This year I am teaching the week of June 24-30. The class is an exciting mix of structured exercises and time to draw on your own with or without guidance. The class is called Drawing Nature Expressively - we will try some different materials and working larger and looser during the structured exercises. During part of the day when you are drawing on your own the medium and techniques can be of your choosing. I will be bringing lots of different materials for experimentation and exploration so you do not have to invest a lot of money.

The Clearing has 2 scholarships for 2 people who would like to come to this class. Each scholarship is for $500 per person which roughly pays for half of the tuition which includes your room, meals and class tuition. Maybe you and a friend can come together? Or you and your child?

The Clearing is in a beautiful setting on the bay with wildflowers, birds, and wildlife. It also has great food and good company. It is quite a gift to take a week and be an artist with none of the pressures of home (phone ringing, laundry, cooking, etc.). It is amazing how much you can get done!

Everyone who comes to The Clearing leaves inspired and waiting to come again.
