Our February meeting will be held on the 17th at the Palatine Public Library. We will be having our annual members critique. This year Beth Shadur will be leading our critique; discover more about her at www.bethshadur.com. Bring 2 pieces of artwork to be critiqued. If time allows we will try to include a 3rd piece if you bring one.
At the last meeting we announced an opportunity for our members to have a presence on the web! District Chapter 103 Chicago will offer each member a page on our website. You will be able to have some of your artwork shown as well as current information, this could include a list of upcoming shows, a bio, and/or contact information. More information will be in the next Chapter news emailing.
There was some lively discussion regarding our new Convention piece project followed with a viewing of the 2018 Convention and Explore This! 14 DVD. The decision was made to do a drawing of the Chicago Skyline. Tracy Frein will enlarge the selected photo of the skyline then divide it into 20 strips. Members who would like to work on this project will be given a strip that will then be combined with other member's skyline artwork to create a unique view to showcase our Chicago
