Vice President and Secretary Positions

Once again it is time to elect officers for two of our four Board positions:  Vice President and Secretary. The term of office is for 2 years and would begin in August with the planning meeting for the upcoming year.

Board meetings are generally held an hour before the Members meetings. As a Board member you are encouraged to attend all the Board meetings however it also understandable that sometimes this is not possible. If unable to attend the meeting, it is requested that you notify one of the other board members.

Vice President

  • Serves on the Board to assist the President

  • Assume the duties of the President if the President is absent

  • Helps with scheduling

  • Helps coordinate programs for our Chapter meetings.

Secretary

  • Records Board meeting minutes

  • Provides a copy of minutes at the next meeting

  • Keeps a record of chapter’s events

  • Handle correspondence as needed

  • Serve as Chapter Historian by preserving records if there is no Historian (currently however, Joan Robertson is serving as Historian)
